Dr. Sheryl Thacker, MD

Dr. Thacker co-founded the practice with Dr. Thompson in 1990. She attended Emory University School of Medicine and trained at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

Dr. Melanie Thompson, MD

Dr. Thompson earned her MD degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1984, where she was named to Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. She earned her diploma in Internal Medicine from Emory in 1987. She saw her first patient with HIV in 1982 and has been particularly interested in that field since that time.

Dr. Annette Bernard, MD

Dr. Bernard joined the practice in 1995. She attended Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and trained at the University of Michigan, where she was chief medical resident, and also received an MPH. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a former director of the Medical Consult Services for Grady Memorial Hospital.
